Our feet are designed to provide us with continuous dynamic support from the ground to our crown. The Trager® Approach is an ideal, and highly effective form of somatic therapy for many of the foot-related issues that clients present. Meeting feet, including our own, with soft, full, and comforting touch carries therapeutic benefits upward into the body’s rising structure, and beyond into the expansive biotensegral web!
As a participant in this workshop, you will gain self-care skills for achieving and maintaining dynamic comfort, and resiliency in gravitational rebounding. When our feet feel good, we feel good! In this 1-day workshop you will learn how to gently dismantle and reorganize imbalances, distortions and compensatory patterns that are embedded in the ‘mind of the feet’. Guided movement explorations, touch that teaches, and the practice in ‘active recall’ will give you fun and meaningful skills that you can seamlessly incorporate into your own self-caring practice, and share equally as a ‘hands-on’ therapeutic process with your clients.
Please wear easy-to-more-in clothing, and bring 1 conventional bed pillow.
